Impact Hub & Partnerships

Impact Hub
Impact Hub & Partnerships
The Impact Hub connects the WCI with founders, universities, civil society and cities. This is where research turns into programmes, pilots and partnerships.

Impact Entrepreneurship Lab

The lab takes people from a sustainable idea to a working venture, in cooperation with the BCBT Startup Hub.

Startup Programme

Business model development, impact measurement, pitch training and mentoring for impact-first ventures.

Workshops and panels

Design thinking, co-creation and expert panels on real challenges from partner cities and organisations. The Startup Mentor Stage of We Create Future is one of these formats.

Guest lectures

Founders, investors and sustainability experts in the BCBT Startup Hub series.

Incubation

Ongoing mentoring and introductions to investors, funding programmes and pilot partners.

Circular Economy Labs

Lab sessions on circular business models, material loops and urban hackathons.

Universities and research institutes

Joint research, EU-funded projects such as Horizon Europe and Erasmus+, joint publications and student exchange.

Civil society

Project cooperation, research support and community building with NGOs and networks, among them World Cleanup Day Germany and Let’s Do It! Germany e.V.

Cities

Pilot projects with municipalities on circular economy, sustainable urban development and civic participation. Kiez Connection in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg is an example of this kind of cooperation.
